Pro IQ Inc. built Pro IQ Hockey as a commercial app for hockey coaches, organizations, and their players. This service is provided by Pro IQ Inc. and is intended for use as is.

This page informs visitors of policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information for anyone who uses the service.

By using the service, you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. Personal information is used only for providing and improving the service, and is not shared with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Account Creation

Accounts are created by a coach or organization admin on behalf of their players — the app does not offer public, self-serve sign-up. If you're a player using this app, your coach or organization has provisioned your account and may have supplied your name and email address for that purpose.

Information Collection and Use

To provide the service, the following information is stored in the app's database (Cloud Firestore):

• Your name and email address
• Your role (player, coach, or admin) and the team, group(s), and organization you belong to
• Video assignments, drill library entries, and team news made visible to you
• A device push-notification token, so the app can notify you of new video and news

Video clips, thumbnails, profile pictures, and news photos are stored using Firebase Cloud Storage. This content is uploaded by coaches/admins and made visible only to the players, groups, or organization it's assigned to.

The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

• Google Play Services (Android only)
• Firebase Authentication
• Firebase Cloud Firestore
• Firebase Cloud Storage
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications)
• Firebase Crashlytics
• Firebase Analytics
• Mailjet (password reset emails only)

Push Notifications

The app requests permission to send push notifications so you can be alerted when your coach assigns you a new video or posts a team update. A device token used to deliver these notifications is stored against your account and removed if it becomes invalid. You can disable notifications at any time from your device's system settings.

Log Data

In the event of an error, data and information may be collected via third-party products (Log Data). This may include your device's IP address, device name, operating system version, app configuration, time and date of use, and other statistics.

Cookies

This service does not use cookies explicitly. However, third-party code and libraries used by the service may use cookies to collect information and improve their services.

Service Providers

Third-party companies and individuals may be employed to facilitate the service, provide the service on the creator's behalf, or assist in analyzing how the service is used. These parties have access to personal information solely to perform tasks assigned on the creator's behalf, and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Security

Your trust in providing personal information is valued. Commercially acceptable means are used to protect it. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Children's Privacy

Some players using this app, under a coach's or organization's account provisioning, may be under the age of 13. Accounts for such players are created and managed by their coach or organization, not registered directly by the child, and only the information described above (name, email, team/group membership, and coaching content) is collected for the purpose of delivering coaching video and team communication. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a player's account should be corrected or removed, please contact us using the details below.
